• Noah Randolph-Flagg

    Assistant Professor

I am an interdisciplinary geologist from Kauai, HI interested in diverse research topics (e.g., How do volcanic rocks cool? Are ocean moons habitable? How do lithium deposits form? How does climate change affect volcanic systems?) I also enjoy trail running, swimming, toddler wrangling, making salsa, etc.

PhD, UC Berkeley; BA, Carleton College [CV]

  • John Thomas (Jt) Gribbins

    MS student

I am a graduate student at the University of Kentucky. My research focuses on habitability and fluid flow within fault zones. I also work with middle and high school students teaching earth and space sciences. I am a KY native who enjoys hiking, playing tennis, and reading several fiction genres.

  • Christopher (Chris) Marsh

    Research technician

I am a researcher focused on how pore scale processes affect critical mineral and biologically relevant hydrothermal reactions mostly using microscopes and microfluidcs . My past work focused on paleoecology and paleoclimatology also using microscopes.  I was born in West Virginia and raised in Kentucky. I enjoy hiking, playing video games, and listening to music.
